OK, obviously I am part of the small percentage. Would be interesting to see how prices for more basic builds you described have increased from MY22-MY24.
You’re right it was a no frills price for a no frills truck, a vehicle even the financially disadvantaged could afford. Not so much now. Price for the hybrid version went up between 5-9K between 22-24 with NO additional standard equipment. Other comparable priced hybrid vehicles have more standard equipment, not to mention less pitiful warranties. The US & Japan need to catch up. Wouldn’t hurt if the government restored the EV tax credits too; glad I got mine in 21.It was a screaming good deal when it first came out, and the last.
The events following that debut assured that there will never be a buyers market again.
People seem to think that the Maverick is the only vehicle thats price has risen.
Every vehicle for sale in 2024 will have a higher msrp.
Seen the price lower on anything, food, rent, lately?
I’d say just be glad you got one, or, hopefully, are scheduled to get one, at any price.
That depends on how old and debilitated you are. I refused to buy a package just for heated seats, but I use mine in the summertime usually just because of severe joint/back pain, but not lately as we’ve been in triple digits for a week Now.Meh, don't need 'em in da South.
Gee, thanks friend! This has to be one of the most ignorant posts gaining views on this forum I've seen in awhile. It's complete crap.
My dealer had 36 allocations last year. This year 80. They only took 25 orders as of yesterday.
Pigs get fat. Hogs get slaughtered.Order banks orders still open? I think the Market for Mavs may have loosened up quite a bit. I think The Price increase and basicly no added feature along with alot of dealers still tacking on stupid high fees have slowed the demand down a lot But for ford it seems to be a self inflicted slow down.

It means that if you eat a little more than your share, you can fatten up with profit. If you get too greedy, you'll end up dead.?????

damn you have almost 300K on a mazda 5??? my mother has a 2008 that is now just over 90k and just holding on to life with me doing a ton of work on it.If I was ordering a 2024 it would either be an XL or something else. My cutoff is $28k (30k including taxes, etc) as this is my day to day/ work vehicle, I am not spending a fortune on it. It still isn't bad priced just more than I would be willing to spend.
I wouldn't go with Eco for me as I put 30k+miles on a year. Knowing that an XL is unlikely to be built I would get something else. My current vehicle is nearing 300k miles so time to get a new one. Luckily I have a build week 8/28 for an XLT. So crossing fingers this gets built.
I am disappointed in Ford that the hybrid is no longer the base engine. Not because of it not meeting my price point but because it was the ONLY vehicle regardless of Brand or Model that a hybrid was the base model, including their other models. I felt that it was innovative of Ford to prioritize fuel economy by making it more affordable where you don't have to spend more to get good mileage. Unfortunately, greed took over.
