In my area, I see mainly area51 mavericks around, probably equal number Area 51s to all the other colors. I was looking on my dealer website, like I do regularly to see how their “stock” of mavericks is changing, and I have noticed the trend lately has been mainly Cactus gray. I don’t know if this was just because that was the color ford was spraying last month, or if the popularity in my area of cactus gray has replaced the previous popularity of the area51 since that color option was removed.
just thinking out loud and curious if anyone else noticed similar trends in their area.

Cactus gray is a popular color in my town. Mine is on the left - a friend's work truck is on the right.

It's popular in my area. I bought my truck because it had everything that I wanted and nothing I didn't, and it was on the lot. As long as the color (cactus grey) was acceptable, it didn't really factor into the purchase decision.

Mine is area 51 but would definitely get Cactus Gray now. I wonder why Ford discontinued area 51 since it was the most popular color. Also why there is no green color available. Not that I like green.

Cactus gray morphs to many earth shades ranging from a light gray to a faint greenish hue in different light scenarios! Love the color! (y)

Starting to see cactus gray everywhere...Terrain/sand might be my new choice. Haven't seen one in the wild yet. Dare to be Different.

Yeah, with Area 51's price increase (and name change) I suspect cactus grey will be one of more popular colors for M24.

I honestly can't take the cactus gray myself. It's either not tan enough, not gray enough, or not green enough. But combined, oh no. And then some of my family loves the color. It's funny how much that color polarizes people but its not for me. I would have considered the area51 if they hadnt killed it when they had me re-make my order for the 24my

I have been seeing Cactus Grey. In fact, all is see is either black, white or Cactus. If I see an Area51, its like seeing a ghost.

Depending on the shade of green I would have gone with green over Atlas blue. But it would need to be the right green.

I do wish more manufacturers would offer PTS like Porsche, Audi, BMW, etc. I would pay more for a custom color.

It’s logical that cactus gray could be highest volume in 2024. XL is the most popular trim and has limited choices. Remove red because of the $495 charge leaves 4 choices. Lots of people don’t care for black and white which leaves atlas blue and cactus gray.
