Has cactus gray replaced Area 51 in popularity?

Best color. Here was mine. Have an Area51 Bronco now, but have another CG MAV on order.

I have area 51 now but second choice would be cactus grey or terrain .

I really liked the Area 51, in part because it was unusual and in a large part because it is non-metallic. So I was disappointed it wasn't available when I ordered my 24. I ended up ordering Cactus Gray instead, specifically because it is also non-metallic. After having it for a month, I am actually really happy with the color. It doesn't show dirt at all, and it looks different in different lighting conditions. (Also, I was in the desert this weekend (Anza-Borrego, near San Diego) and realized that the color is accurately named.)

In my area CG, Oxford White and Black are the most popular colours. Area 51 is very rare, think I've seen two since the Maverick was released in late 2021. Have not seen any of the new 24 colours in person yet.

Cactus grey is ok, but the Azure Grey is the way to go!

Here in NH I have seen 1 Maverick on the road. 1 at a dealership. Both area 51. Earlier this week on a trip to SC I saw 4. All 4 were in Comlumbia SC. All were white fleet trucks from different companies.
Those are the only colors I have seen in person.
At least in photos, I am not fond of the CG or terrain. My husband calls them wet drywall colors.
I wish they had an nice dark emerald green metallic. Not the bronco green.

Cactus/Fighter Jet GRAY is the 'Default" color choice... (think they are pushing it...)

Exactly! If Ford produces all the XL the order bank, there will be huge numbers of additional Cactus Gray.

I too am unwilling to pay a premium for a paint color, which is why I am getting CG. I was going to order A51 until the canceled the color. My wife told me after we ordered that she is happy they don’t have A51 any more. She wanted CG but was letting me choose the color.
