When I ordered my 2023, I ordered most basics, but now I am thinking I want to add 120 V outlet in my truck bed. Has anyone performed this with their Maverick? What do I need to know?

If you haven't found a thread on here yet, you can either put a 12v cigarette lighter outlet in the back and use a low wattage inverter for drill batteries or small things, or you can mount a higher wattage inverter near the battery under the rear seat (but probably not over 400w unless you do something to accommodate higher wattage) and then run 120v wires back to an outlet in the bed. That way you are running smaller gauge wires than you'd need to run high amp 12 DC to the bed.

What do you want to do with it? If you want to run high wattage items you need a big inverter wired to the battery. The existing 12v wires will only handle 100 watts IIRC. Figure out what you need it for first and work back from there.
