Had this on my old ecosport they work great, attach with 3m great for kayaking and leaving keys in the car!

I have the factory installed one.

Is the factory installed one also battery op and at some point the battery will die? Or is the factory one wired?

If equipped from the factory, they're hardwired. For reference:

Got the pad installed. Evidently it was no big deal for the mechanic. It will take a Ford tech to program it as their software is needed. FYI for anyone in the same boat as me. Pretty simple, he didn't charge, but it can't be programmed at home as far as I know.

mounted mine behind the rear windshield. Would have mounted it on the door pillar, but the buttons were oriented horizontally. Didn't wanna mount it to the paint, so this works just fine for what I need. I don't believe it'll interfere with a bed cover if I decide to get one.

Yes - I installed one on mine... the dealer did have to program it.

So any one want the keyless entry keypad for Ford Maverick XL PART # K33Z-14A626-B brand NEW not install yet ! I can offer $75 you paid shipping or pick up for any one think that pretty cheap for Ford dealership charge around total $235 to program and it is worth it get it (because when I order on their Ford accessories .com the price Install is $22 if you add in but I did not and now no dealership honor that kind of price for the install ?????????? ).Thank you

IDK that looks like right where the Tonneau Cover rail/seal will attach. I suppose it can be removed later and relocated if needed.

Same here. A bummer as the '23 I had on order had this and other features. However, the '23 was moved to a '24 order without these features.
