Come drop in and share if you’ve been through 2 New Years waiting on your maverick too!
Yep. ANOTHER winter without my Maverick and heated seats. Coming up on 15 months. What a time we're existing through. Never has it been so difficult to give up $30+k. I'm one of the sort of lucky ones that have a good running car so I'm not in dire straits. I do have a build date of the 20th of this month so we'll see how that goes. Then there's the shipping.
I'm cautiously optimistic and just talked to a Maverick owner that loves his. Guess I'll see.

I used to stop in my dealer every week and make my presence known and keep up on my status. A couple of times I knew more than he did and got him excited. I finally got him trained, the first day of the conversion I stopped in and he was waiting for me with the paperwork and a grin. The Ford Video Guy helped. I'm at 14 months and should be built late this month. Keep at it, good luck.

Yes, I can join in this thread. Ordered Nov. 1, 2021. Build Nov. 1, 2022. Left Mexico Nov. 8, 2022.
Arrived at the Union Pacific rail yard for drop off to truck convoy to my dealer on Dec. 1, 2022.
It has been sitting in the rail car since then. It took less time to get it to Minnesota from Mexico then it has to get it to my dealer 45 miles from the rail yard!!!!!
I wonder if I will get a discount from Ford for buying a last years model 22 in after they are delivering 23's to dealers???????
I'd be tempted to steal my own truck. Or at least sit in it. Maybe you can do some upgrades on it while it's in the yard? Yeah, frustrating. Ask for some trinkets to calm things down. So near.........

As of January 1, 2023 it'll be 449 days since my original order. However ! ! ! ! I do have a VIN and production date that actually has been moved UP two days from January 12th to January 10th. I find myself doing the happy dance in anticipation.

What is really going to happen. I also order mine the day it was announced and yet no maverick. Last email I got was in November. And when I go check my status it still shows as a 22. My dealer doesn’t know shit. They just said oh sorry Ford really mess up. At this point I gave up. I guess I will wait for the market to continue cooling down and get my self a use hybrid maverick

455 days or 15 months as of yesterday. 23 build date already moved back. Not even a "hang in there" from the dealership. Anticipation replaced by frustration. Well done Ford.

I've been waiting 15 months tomorrow for my Hybrid. Ordered Oct. 3, 2021. I'm on my 2nd VIN and pushed again to week of Feb. 3rd. No constraints and stripped down to basic tow package.

Your discount is the lower APRs on financing. 3.9%/60 is now around 6.3%, meaning a 60 month loan will cost over $1600 more for a 23 than a 22 (based on $25000 borrowed). And that's if rates don't keep going up.
