Only time I regularly use hand sanitizer is after pumping gas, for mostly the same reasons. Been doing it for the last 20 years or so and I can count on one hand the number of times I've caught a cold in that time, so maybe I'm doing something good? Who knows.I keep a small bottle in the Mav too. Fuel up, last person may have been adjusting, just changed a baby diaper, or their spouses diaper! Too many people never wash their hands...
Exactly, that’s why all these new Gens are always sick, sanitizer this, antibiotic that!I don't have any hand sanitizer in my Maverick. I've been known on occasion eaten a grape, blackberry or blueberry without washing it.
Last time I was sick was in 2022 when I had covid. It was pretty much a non-event then.
I believe to keep your immune system active you got to be around some germs.
If it's 108° and I let the water run.Unfortunately we can go against nature. I’m not saying to be a wildman but build your natural immunity while also not being irresponsible. Nature vs. Nurture. I learned it in nursing school in the 90’s and it has not led me astray.
Used alcohol everyday as a hospital worker. That makes sense. The bacteria and spores we were susceptible to were everywhere. Good old soap and water does the job everywhere else.Almost 60 and have never used alcohol (main ingredient in hand sanitizer) on my hands. Not to mention a bottle left in my vehicle when the temperature gets to 110 wouldn't be a good idea.
