Grille trim in red

I was planning on doing this with paint, but ran across TUF SKINZ and bought this grille trim. It's made the same way as a lot of the Maverick tailgate lettering; domed vinyl. All factory colors are available, and a few others. I chose Race Red. $149. A little costly up front, but we'll made and very easy to apply. Something different, anyway.

Pics: original grille, close-up detail, and finished work. Took all of 20 minutes to apply.

No argument about the price, but when it came to properly dismantling the grille to best prep and paint it, I spent the money versus the extra work.

Oddly, being from California, and a bit less "seasoned" , this was my tricked-up S I built in 2006... yeah, born on the wrong coast...

They are making me one in chrome. Apparently they can do anything in liquid chrome.
