Good use for slot in floor console

When I was test driving the Maverick I noticed a narrow slot in the floor console. I immediately thought that this would be a good place for a credit card. I pulled one out and it fit perfectly. I often find myself with my credit card in my hand and my wallet in my pocket. So I can just temporarily put it there until I get to a place I can put it back in my wallet. Is there an official purpose for the slot?

That's one use. Also handy if you need a card for parking at work, parking garages, etc.

...plus there is a plastic clip on the sunvisor that can serve the same purpose; hold parking lot tickets, credit card while you wait in line to fill at Costco, toll road tickets, etc. etc.

Here's an idea for any 3D printer folks. create something like this that fits into the cubby to the right of the screen. Make it low profile and a nice fit as to not use up all the room. I would buy it. What would I pay? Up to $20.

Somebody probably already mentioned this, but I use the slot to hold those paid parking exit tickets. Perfect fit. Not something you'd want to lose as they'll charge you $10-20.
