What are some companies that make good quality, lightweight wheels? Looking for something that won't be much more weight than stock wheels but also won't cost me several thousand. Any ideas?

Do you need 3 peak rated for winter? Honestly, my go to for pretty much any tire questions are Michelin Cross Climate 2's for A/S tires or Falken Wildpeak (Trails or AT3W's) for A/T tires, but if all you need is all season highway tires you can get something a little cheaper. The CC2's are by far the best A/S tire on the market currently though and it's pure extra credit they are great in the snow too. Even if I didn't need them for snow, I'd still probably go with them. It's really just a question of budget and size. I'm guessing you are looking for a stock size? 225 or 235/65R17?

Sorry, misread.

Wheels, I got no idea. Sort by weight lol. Would be nice if Discount allowed for that on their website. Stock black FX4 17's are 23 pounds I know that much.

Still, we'd need to know what size OP wants.

I have used HRE wheels on many of my cars. They have great designs and are of good quality. Their wheels are also light weight. You could also custom order them to your liking.

I would love 20" but I know the bigger the wheel the more it will weigh since more material, with that said I am looking in the range of 18"-20" depending on what style I see and what the price is. Don't want to spend a fortune on my base truck but also don't want heavy shoes that will kill my MPG so I'm trying to find a nice middle ground.

Stick to 18s - cheaper wheels, cheaper tires, lighter, better mpg, better braking, etc
oh and better, balanced look on this truck

20s = :poop: (but that's just my opinion; well, plus all those facts above)

What ^^^^ he said - good advice. Ford carefully selected all the trade-offs picked wheels and tires for Hybrid enhanced MPG. Been on this side for almost 2 yrs and so many end up killing their MPG with heavier wheels and taller/wider tires…If mpg is not important Keep looking.

I will agree I didn't think about long term cost of tires alone with larger than 18". I'm not making mine out to be an off roader, that's what my bronco is for, so I'm looking more for a clean street truck look to my maverick.

@Discount Tire

There are quite a few brands with lighter weight options:

Method
Drag
Konig
Petrol,
to name a few. Any particular size/style of wheel you were looking at?

Tire Rack has a close out sale on Sparco all terrain ($175 for the 18”) which is light. Ford’s wheels are pretty light.

The Lariat’s 18’s are a real PINTA to clean.

I did see those sparco wheels in my search. I just didn't like the white sparco lettering but man that price is hard to beat for a light weight 18"

I know I'm not in line with the normally thinking here and not answering your question but how open are you to the idea... just keep or paint your stock wheels and you'll have ideal weight and keep hundreds to a thousand in your pocket for other stuff?

I'm not trying to impress my values on you, just lay out the info to help you make the best decision. In my experience rims are a decent $$$ that are purely cosmetic. You could plastidip what ever you got for a nice blacked out look and spend the money on something else that gets you more use / bang for your buck.

To me, black or grey wheels to the point I can't even tell if they are steelies is an amazing look. Let's the eye focus on the rest of the car (which is nice). You also don't have to worry about dinging low profile rims on a pot hole etc. My sister did that and then paid even more a few years later to replace that expensive rim. If they were normal diameter the tire would have absorbed the hit.
