can't figure that one out, but first and foremost I'm an IU fan
Agreed ...... Still wondering why too. Looks like Tyler Buchner may start their bowl game.

Caleb looked like an sophomore tonight. Saw 2 main things he needs to really work on: endurance & accurately passing long down the field. That 59 yard run tired him out so the next play started with a delay of game.

Not directly related to your point here, but it did remind me of an observation I've made lately:
I've notices what seems to be a significant difference in conditioning between the offensive skill players (running backs and receivers) and their defensive counterparts (cornerbacks and safeties)... While everyone seems to agree that it's much more difficult physically for the defensive players (since they don't know exactly where the offensive player will go), it is the offensive players who raise their hands to be taken out of the game to catch their breath after almost every long play. Meanwhile, the defensive player just trots back to the huddle and lines up for the next play - over and over for the entire series. The only explanation I can come up with is that the defensive backs are in a lot better shape, as far as stamina and endurance. (To say nothing of the mental strength it takes to get beat on one play and keep coming back for the next one.)

That was one of the things that made Jerry Rice so unique as a receiver in my view - he almost never took himself out of the game, and went full-speed even on the plays where he was just a decoy. His workouts were legendary, and that allowed him to "endure" (in more ways than one).

Anyway, just a thought.

Also - hated to see the TCU get beat up so badly by Georgia. I was expecting the Dogs to win, but I really through the Frogs would play them a lot closer. Much respect to Georgia...
