What the correct way, or best way for side stripes to go on?

Didn't realize this until today...but the way the decals sit on the First Edition Maverick is different than how they sit on the official Ford website. One is put on upside down.

Is there a correct way?

Personally, I actually prefer the Ford website and bottom photo way, mostly because the main lines are higher up and more noticeable.

The Ford Accessories stripe set is different from the First Edition stripes so there is no 'upside down' per say.

Those are two entirely different designs, not the same thing upside down...

Has anyone put stripes on Shadow Black with FX4 Pkg? If so, what color? Same holds true for tailgate lettering. Does Red or White look better?

2 different strip sets and they belong on the hips above the rear wheel or leading off the front tire. Low black stripes, just look like more cheaper black plastic. All thanks to the AMC Eagle Sport. A car I love, but hate the plastics of.
