I am looking for a new truck. Always something to move. Had several GM 2500s with snowplow, Now I have a 03 s-10 4x4 x cab 200k and sick of foolin with it. Nothing close in price and looking at a 14 awd base in black $29k. Gotta bring my 2 trades for price. Maybe make a deal! MOST dealers nearby have the loaded xlt $35k. So gonna meet tomorrow..................

I have a 23 Tremor, and the new Ranger was not yet available. If I had to do it today, I'd opt for the Ranger. If money is not a constraint, the higher price gets you a stronger engine, more gears, more towing, and a few more standard features.

CP 360 will pay back when it is time to trade as will the $100 hitch.

I assume you want an EcoBoost, not hybrid. You may find you are limiting yourself by looking for an XL when you can get the more readily available XLT and negotiate the price. Use the locator tool on the Ford-->Maverick-->Build--> locate website. Negotiate by email rather than in person with what dealers call their Internet Sales Dept.

I just left my 1998 k2500 6.5 TD with just under 300k on her and I couldn't be happier with my 2024 maverick lariat Fx4 lux . Figure out what you want and pull the trigger and a early welcome to the club

Welcome to the darkside bro. My sierra blew its transfer case and wanted something i could afford to daily drive, and not a fan of midsize trucks.

Maverick Payments are cheaper than the constant maintenance a 300k KM truck was demanding ( cv axels every 13 months, ball joints every 16 months, 400 canadian pesos for tires becausethe ball joints were gone) ... plus the seirra was starting to rust badly.

Not sure how they justify $995 for Azure Gray?

Well, the Vette might get some interest now that it is spring. The 11 year old Impala might be something a parent would buy for their shiney faced new teen driver, rust and all.

I have good luck selling my outgoing cars myself. I get more than the dealer will offer on trade and a little under what the second tier used car lots get. Or just get it over with, trade 'em and neogtiate the price down on the new Mav. The Ford dealer is going to wholesale them off their lot anyway.

If you order one, you'll get exactly what you want. And if the dealer is an honest one, you can get it for MSRP. Research dealers before doing anything.

If you want a truck with not much fancy crap on it, just order an XL with CP360 and maybe a hitch receiver, if needed. Go to the Ford site and do a tentative build. There's no obligation to do that. Put in the ZIP for the dealer you want to use.

"Honest" dealers will be selling below MSRP. Since when is MSRP an accepted practice? SInce COVID? Mavs aren't the rare unicorn they were in 2022.
