Getting another Tremor

I found a Tremor that is more of what I was looking for as far as options goes. I’m going to be getting a cactus gray with the Lariat luxury package and copilot 360. I was able to talk to the dealership off of their $5000 markup.

I previously had a XLT Tremor with no options. I sold it to a young girl who was a fan of my channel. She got screwed over by her dealership on a factory order. The same thing had happened to me in jan 22. Had a purchase agreement and they put a markup on top of it regardless.

I regretted selling the tremor pretty much right away, but I did feel very bad for the girl, and I knew exactly what she was going through. I’m very excited to get another one back in my life. It’s going to arrive 2nd week of July.

I was originally wanting the XLT Tremor, thought it would be a wiser choice, but this loaded Lariat Tremor came available at MSRP and I knew it was likely my only shot in the short term to get one. Very pleased with the extras, think I would have been a little disappointed without them.

I originally wanted just a xl AWD I didn't care what color I could find one in since I missed out on order banks in 23, so when I actually found one on a lot without mark-up I immediately said it's sold. I got really lucky,

I would of never thought all the extras were worth it til I drove this down Michigan roads. Ended up being a little over 37000 with A plan.

Mine was $29,640 at Granger. Probably go down in history as the cheapest Tremor ever. All I got on it was an inverter and HPR.

On your travel thread you have some sort of camper shell on the back of your truck(?). I guess you bought that aftermarket(?).

Just curious where you stand on getting your truck shipped to Hawaii?

I did get an ARE MX topper installed at American Toppers in DesMoines. A real nice guy named Ben Grassley was running things there. Had us on the road in a couple hours. It cost $4000 installed. Its really for our dogs back home. We could have done something cheaper like a soft topper or gon homemade but the fact that its ready to haul a fair amount of weight on top of it and that it looks sooo good in the HPR, it was worth it.

As for shipping it home. We dropped it off in San Diego on the 3rd of July and it should be on island the 4th of August. We also got a killer deal on shipping. Normal cost is $2250 and every vehicle you buy on island is marked up $3k because of that even if they sold Geo Metros here it'd be marked up that much lol. But a freind of ours kids are in a youth Hula group and they did a silent auction fundraiser. Pasha the shipping company offered 2 voyage passes for the auction. We won it for $850. So $29,600 + $4000 + $850 that is still basically what MSRP would be for a 24 Tremor XLT in HPR, except we couldnt get the inverter because its now tied to other packages. We did also get the SIBL with the cargo rails discount.

We are planning on taking our niece and nephew to pick it up next week. Get the salt washed off it (just like the old fishing days they pack vehicles in salt to ship em lol) and go for a cruise.
