Gas deals?⛽️

With the price of gas being what it is these days I’ve been looking for ways to save $. Everyone knows Costco has good prices but I found a couple deals others may not know about which I thought I would share. Having a hybrid I don’t have to fill up very often so maybe these discounts will get me through

1. 7-11 Rewards - first 7 fill ups are $.11 off
2. AAA - through Shell - $.30/gal off your first fill up and then $.05/gallon off after

Anybody else found some good deals?

Costco is 1 hour away so a non starter. I just buy gas when the fuel gauge is low plus I have no desire to run around looking for cheap gas so pay whatever the pump says. Having said that if a gas station has exceptionally high priced fuel I might pass.

Did that once in my 20's. Ended up miles away from intended destination and ended up sleeping on some poor stranger's porch. Lesson learned!

Looks like other states are jumping on the bandwagon to keep their tourist trade going.

Gas prices should be falling soon. Just have to wait for the gas companies to get their last pound of flesh in before they respond to crude oil prices. If you've got a hybrid and can stretch it out, that would probably be the best deal.

The average gas price in 2022 was $3.95; today it is $4.32. Thread still applies and I suspect prices will go up more. And hey, I said that with no political slant.. My wife would proud of me!!! Good info though!!
