Fuel Door ghost?

It's definitely happened to me a few times. I could be totally off, but I'm pretty sure it happens when I reach over the side and accidentally press up against it. I think it's just really sensitive.

Just my hypothesis.

You know that is totally possible. It has been after putting something in there, thanks. I will definitely be more aware of that.

Has anyone noticed their fuel door popping open on its own? I have had it happen twice now.

It's the Gremlins hiding in your wheel wells, There's a green pull tap that manually opens the fuel door! I believe it's the right side🦧

Has happened to me as well. Apparently, this is new technology to Ford and their bottom-tier suppliers.

I noticed it today, but I was loading a sand bucket into that side of the truck and I may of bumped it. Doing a road trip this weekend and will keep an eye on it.

If you reach into the bed or brush the door lightly it will open . it has happened to me a couple of times and I noticed it right away . It is very sensitive .

I pulled into a gas station and it opened, figured it was a GPS thing. But it only happened once.

It's happened about 6 times in 10,000 miles, I know nothing touched the fuel door.
