every winter, my fueldoor freezes shut several times. not the door itself, but the push to latch mechanism. it seems to fill with water somehow, even though there's a gasket around the pin itself. i've tried spraying the pin with wd-40, and recently coating the pin with silicone grease, but it still freezes. anyone else having this problem? anyone at a dealer available to check the p/n and see if they have redesigned this part#? i have a oct '22 build EB.

thanks

try a dry silicone or graphite powder
WD and S grease will likely gum up in the cold

If you do use isopropyl alcohol don't get it on the gasket, or other rubber seals.
