I just wanted to inquire if anyone has installed seat jackers/risers to their driver's seat.

I want to improve the seating position of the driver's seat, with a more lazy-boy feel. I feel my Maverick's driver seat doesn't provide adequate thigh support and causes fatigue, especially on long road trips.

Here is a link to the jackers/risers I'm looking to purchase.

Hopefully someone can share their experience if they have installed them in any of their vehicles.

Thank you.

While I do not have experience with this product. I do like the idea that it is specifically made for the purpose of raising the front of the seat. It also looks like it has a hole for the positioning stud that comes down from the seat track.

VS
Rigging something with washers that can slide and a hardware store bolt of questionable quality.

How secure do you want your seat to be in the event of an accident??
Good luck

I want it to be as secure as it came from the factory.

$87.99 is a lot of flow for a couple of washers and bolts, but due to the fact that my Maverick is a Lariat trim, cost is not an option.

If it was a food stamp trim, I wouldn't care about installing bolts and washers from Temu or Harbor Freight.

Good quality is always going to cost more. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I installed the seat jackers on the rear of the seats, so the seat pan itself would be more parallel to the ground.

It was a complete success. Makes the seat much more comfortable for me.

The fact that the power seat does not have a seat pan tilt adjustment is probably my only complaint about my Mav. I’ve had power seats in my cars for 25 years, seat pan tilt was on all of em.

Note that the torx bolts Ford uses are some kind of special type. This did the trick:

Ford did the fun swap of going from Torx to Torx Plus across the board, recommend picking up set vs. the single bit, especially those of us with the poor trims (XL / XLT) who will be taking off the 15 splash shield screws to save a buck changing our own oil or fighting with the bolts to do a tailgate assist self install.

Glad to know the riser worked out well for you. I hope it does the same for me.

Thank you for sharing the link to the torx bit needed for removal.

Waste of money. I added 3 washers to each side on mine and used the same bolts and it works great. The bolts are long and there is plenty of thread engagement.

My second observation of my new Maverick was that the front of the seats were much higher than I am used to. It was confirmed when my ex-wife with circulation problems said her legs would go numb when driving the Maverick.

I don’t often buy washers to tilt my seats, but when I do, the washers go on the rear of the seat.

Great advice Thank You.

Where do you see that? The link I click on shows that it’s $124.
I believe $124 is the Canadian price.

Wish I had two more hands so I could give this four thumbs up.
