Yeah I think I might just get the push pins and put them in there have them painted red. I even thought about buying a painted bumper from the factory and then have it put on but it's pockets are not deep so I'm going to see what I can have done

At this point, I'd get rid of the aftermarket plate bracket and have the dealership install the oem bracket, and leave the paint alone.

No but thank you for the suggestion I like the aftermarket bracket a lot better It makes the truck look a lot cleaner IMO

This is where I mounted my front plate bracket. Held on with a heavy duty zip tie. I no longer own this truck, but I mounted it the same way on my 2023. Zero issues even on the hottest California days.

The factory mounting rivets suck!
Tried to mount the front license plate bracket today with the pop rivets they include but they just broke. My cousin suggested using self-tapping screws and it worked fine, and is on very solid. We moved it up a little so it's not quite flush with the top but it's okay.
I don't want to get pulled over for no front plate, esp. after an IPA or two at the brewery ha ha

Yes, the rivets are difficult to install without a rivet gun for 1/4" rivets, but you can do it by pushing on the rivet with the box end of a combo wrench and pull the rod with pliers. The rod snaps off once you pull it home.

My license plate bracket head plastic rivets in it but I changed my bracket so I have to have the holes filled. I think there's a picture of my new bracket on here but I'll post it again
