Yes, the rivets are difficult to install without a rivet gun for 1/4" rivets, but you can do it by pushing on the rivet with the box end of a combo wrench and pull the rod with pliers. The rod snaps off once you pull it home.

I received the plate bracket, and it can definitely shift one way or the other, but only so far as it has grooves that line up with the vertical bars of the grill. Now the question is which way to shift it. If I shift it to the passenger side, the truck might tip over with both plates being on...
