Well I think Ford should offer original owners a service manual at no charge. Being that they need to produce them for technicians anyway, it would not cost them anything more to offer PDF versions of the manual. And considering the constant hefty price increases over the years it would be a nice gesture/bonus.

Shouldn't open in Adobe. Download the .zip, extract the files, then open "index.html" It should open in a browser (Edge, Chrome, Firefox....) and then click the links to navigate, just like a web page.

I was unable to access links using Chrome and Edge browsers. I was able to access by installing Firefox.

You can want that, but I don't think that has been the case as long as I've been alive, which is quite a while. I don't think it's controversial that companies want to be paid for their intellectual property.

A real owners manual , Not a supplemental guide, should be expected from Ford , now for a service manual I would expect to pay.
Then again owners today would screw up a simple oil change.

My .pdf with all the diagrams is 10,300 pages.

The one with 534 pages even if double sided has to be the abridged edition.

(mine also has all the pinpoint tests)

I believe icegradner is referring to the owner's manual which which the op also said he wanted.
