Found the First Edition that I couldn’t order last year!

I was really disappointed last year when I missed the cutoff to order a First Edition hybrid and then in 2023 they did not offero I what I wanted. So a few weekends ago I searched on trucar, cars.com and auto trader and found that 20 Maverick Lariat Hybrids First Edition in Rapid Red had been delivered across the US. I reached out to all the dealerships and waited for the phone calls and texts to come in. Many said that the truck was a special order and the owner would take possession. I found 3 that were available and started negotiating. Markup was running rampart and I was not accepting a first price. As much as 15k was asked for. In the end I paid 10 % over MSRP (3500) or so and the truck was delivered within 2 days of purchase to my driveway. I have purchased the bed extender and molded splash guards and installed them. So far, I love it! Getting 60-70 MPGs on a lot of around town trips. Averaging 43 MPGs right now! Drove 360 miles and still showing 300 to empty. So far, love the tech, the ride, smooth transitions from electric to gas and the CVT is seamless. Well worth the wait and the effort,
