Forscan "Unable to identify" Maverick Hybrid

Hey MTC, Hybrid Maverick XL here!

I'm having trouble with the forscan part of the DIY cruise control install and hoping y'all can help me out here.

When I initially connect to the truck, I get error "Unable to identify the vehicle. Please contact the developers." I would love to contact them but am having trouble accessing their forums right now.

I've tried using two different OBDII scanners, the latest being the fairly common $60 OBDLink EX, recommended by forscan.

I've tried two different versions of the forscan software: 2.3.48 Release and 2.4.6 Beta.

I saw online that someone had success plugging in Mustang PCM code "KR3A-14C204-BJE," but I don't get the Cruise Control drop down option in the ABS or IPC settings this way.

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks!

I was able to register an account with the forscan.org forum. I didn't realize I had to buy the full version of the tool to get the invite code. I'll update here if they have any advice for me.

I am having the same issue. I contacted for scan and the sent me a test version and it works but only a few modules load. I deleted profile a couple times and nothing. Any help would be appreciated!

What cable did you get? Did you follow their instructions? There are drivers I had to install and I had to flip some setting or switch...don't remember it off the top of my head.

If you post a link to the cable, might help.

I been using forscan for years. I tried it with my mongoose as well and it didn’t work I get the same results. Does the maverick has different settings under connections?

Nope, the switch should either be on the cable or within Forscan.

I used this calibration file from a screen shot posted by a member here NZ6A-12A650-UA. It gave me all the modules but I need to find the correct one for a hybrid.
