FORSCAN Enhanced Engine Noise

Love my LOBO! I was playing around with the enhanced engine noise settings using FORSCAN - increasing/decreasing volume. I turned it completely off just to hear how the actual engine sounds. Now I'm unable to turn back on even after overwriting everything with the backup .abt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you do a module reboot? Also what method did you use the easy on/off rewrite?

Thank you for responding. Yes, I did reboot the module. I changed the hexadecimal code for the specific enhanced engine noise attribute in the as-built ACM.

Did you put that exact number back? I know i tried changing tire size under body module and it didn't like it at all and put the oem size back then run PCM module reboot and body module reboot then abs

ACM 702-01-01 xxxx-xxxx-*xxx.
*0 - disabled
*1 - 4 standard harmonics increasing volume with each increment
*5 - 6 performance Tremor profiles
*7 - 8 maximum aggressive Lobo/Raptor profiles

Nothing seemed to work for me so I attempted to return to stock. That is when everything went wrong.

I made the mistake of disabling mine as well and have spent a lot of time trying to turn it back on. Nothing so far has worked. I have a 2025 Lobo 702A as well.

To disable I changed 702-01-01 xxxx-xxxx-1xxx from a 1 to a 0. Then when I tried changing back to a 1 nothing happened.

I even got Ford Diagnostic & Repair System (FDRS) and ran the Program Module Install (PMI) on the Audio Control Module (ACM).

Not being negative but rewriting codes is going down a rabbit hole, I personally change options by turning them on or off or choosing options one at a time then rewrite.

Update: Took to Ford dealer. They were unable to restore the sound. They reached out to Ford technical support. This is their response. "We were unable to find any documentation supporting this vehicle having the Engine Sound Enhancement functionality. If the customer is stating the function is inoperative then please update this form with the time that the function was operational and when it had become inoperative. Additionally, please proceed with comparing the concern with a like vehicle and check if the engine sound is different in the like vehicle. If the engine sound enhancement is operating correctly in the like vehicle, then it would be important to verify there are no logic locks preventing ESE from operating as designed. Please proceed with performing a 30-minute battery disconnect where the cables are connected together with a zip tie. Once this has been completed please re-test for the concern and update this form with your findings.

So, on one hand they are saying it should never have existed but then go on to provide trouble shooting steps to restore something that never existed. Corporate....
