FordPass Journeys

Journeys seems pretty cool in the FordPass app, but I am unable to get it working at this point and I really don't see any detailed instructions on how to get it to record my trips.

I have given the app full access all the time, but again, nothing shows up. I have the phone connected via the cable for Apple Carplay.

If anyone has gotten theirs to work, what steps have you taken?

Make sure the app on your phone has permission to access your location.

Mine has permission to access location but has not worked at all either.

I had the same trouble and can tell you what to do. In addition to the above, with the base level system Journeys doesn't function properly when CarPlay is enabled.

First, you need to go into the menus on the truck (I will try to find the exact location in the menus later) and turn off the option for CarPlay to launch automatically when you connect your phone with a cable. Next, every time you want to start a journey, you must start your truck first and then plug in your phone.

This appears to be the case, but it's silly you have to do that.
