I tried to use the app the other day and I got a message that said I could not use it until I drove the vehicle. The day before I drove it a lot. Anyone else had this issue?

61 times with my 2023 xl including 6 times the vehicle would not even start...while these were not all after long drives I vividly remembered 2 of them....I drove 270 miles on Sunday, had to pick up my wife the next Tuesday about 110 miles away, got into the maverick and it was dead...the other I didn't have an important trip but the circumstances were pretty much the same but fortunately my wife was not involved...lucky...lucky...lucky

The Ford Pass app is both useless AND buggy. It's a worthless feature. Just my 7 cents worth. Constantly malfunctioning ...

  • Delete the Ford app cache/data.
  • Uninstall the app.
  • Reboot your device.
  • Reinstall the app.

I was having the same issue. When the truck is in battery saver mode the FordPass App will not work. I took it to a dealership and they said there was a notice out on this issue. They told me they needed to update the software. It took them a little over an hour to do the update but after a month now it seems to have taken care of the problem.
