At the dealership I work @ we have had a Maverick in our bays for 5 weeks. It has been here 7 times in 2 years with this same problem. I have seen Fords engineers here twice and they have not yet come up with a solution.

I just got prices on a New ESP plan for my Maverick along with a extension on a 2018 Edge. Zeigler Ford has better prices then Grainger........they will send you a discount code.....no sales tax !

Sorry my memory of the mileage....it was out of warrenty. just over 60K....I had a loaner for 10 weeks. My service depart Boss see's all the repairs and even he has a extended warrenty on his Fords ! Best price for a Ext warrenty Zeigler Ford......not who I work for :(

I purchased my 1st ever ESP warranty once my Edge was @ 35 months.....So glad I did. Trans went 55K, steering assembly 100K + 4 other issues. $$$.. I now work PT in service @ a Ford dealership so I see ALL the issues....and there are many.

Most Ford dealers will have a free loaner car for warranty work Or will come pick up and than deliver it back for you. Yes 3 day is a lot,... I work PT in a Ford service department.

I work in a Ford service center. The Writters tell me Grainger insures ALl of Fords ESP plane.

The 2025 Maverick does have a( new ) different frequency.....that may be part of it.

Cargo bed divider....Poor engineering . No easy locking or ability to change it from the Hort position to vert. Plastic washers as spacers. Being the OEM rail can work with this divider it should be sold without the new side rails. A pair of shoulder bolts and some kip handles could make...

I wanted a 3rd key FOB for my 2025 Maverick. I purchased one online for a 2024 thinking it was the same as a 2025. It is NOT.....seems Ford changed the frequency. For now OEM seems to be the only FOB that will work. Meaning paying $150 + vs just $35 online.

So the Dealership I work @ had the GM pulled up the cars that Ford would sell for employee pricing and the Maverick was not on the list.

The Maverick is NOT included in this incentive.

Its still better than the Toyotas Space ship sound....they did that for safety !

I have looked under many Mavericks up on the racks. The recievers looks the same for 2K or 4K. I know the trans gets more cooling, full size spare and a 7 pin connector. I chose to just get the 2K whick is standard.

Sure but a newer Ford truck " 10 speed " also engines "oil leaks " its a gamble

No its not......I work @ a FoMoCo dealership in service and see this all the time. If not a trans it can be a EcoSport engine.
