Ford Perimeter Alarm Plus

Thinking of adding Perimeter Plus. However, when I went to the Security Page of the Mav Lariat, I see this. So, what will the PLUS add?

The regular perimeter alarm will go off if the door is unlocked/opened without being unlocked by the fob or Intelligent Access (on Lariat). And tilt sensor, although don't recall if anyone has tested how sensitive that is.

Has anyone with a Model Year 2024 Maverick installed Perimeter Plus and can they give me the exact part number?

It'd add an impact sensor.

And remote start using the lock unlock button on your key. I don't like using remote start from the Ford pass app.

Received a response from Ford that this part is compatible with MY2024 per their catalogs.

Pretty sure there's no tilt sensor on the Maverick, just like there's no interior sensors, both are mentioned in the manual unless they finally removed that on the 2024s.

I installed, it was quick and easy but I did not know about this option.

How do you set up the alerts to your phone?

I did not have to set that up, you get alerts through the Ford pass app once the perimeter plus alarm is installed.

I know this thread is older but I bought my 2022 Lariat EB used. Is there any way to tell if the anti theft is activated on my little beast?
