Ford Perimeter Alarm Plus

Has anyone purchased the Perimeter Alarm Plus and had their Ford dealer Install it? if so how much was the labor? I am waiting on an estimate for labor. Dealer has not Installed one yet on a Maverick.

My 2023 Lariat Hybrid Maverick was scheduled for production on March 9 this morning, but this evening it has changed to in production. Is the perimeter alarm plus worth purchasing?

Agree. $189 at Fairway Ford, also accepts Ford Points, and it's a 10 minute install.

It wasn't easy for me (but I'm an old guy). I had a hard time getting the plug out of the back of the OBD2 port, and I didn't enjoy laying on the floorboard strapping the sensor in with the zip ties. The activation was easier than I thought, and it works. I can't see how anyone can tell it is working without also installing the separate LED. I am still refining the sensitivity adjustment.
The standard charge for the dealer to install is listed at $60, and if I could get a dealer to agree to that, I would pay it.

I tucked the unit just under the steering column, sensitivity all the way clockwise. Gave the pillar a fistbang and the horn went off. Exactly what I wanted!

As a matter of fact, I was wondering the same thing which brought me to this forum. I just installed the Ford Maverick Permiter Plus and 4DTech's auto start stop eliminator. The alarm is first then the eliminator then the ODB port though I doubt it makes a difference. My only piece of advice would be to know that the input to the ODB port sits higher than the female side not directly behind it so when you go to plug it back in, feel around for the release tab. It does take a bit of acrobatics but it's totally worth it. Both of them! Hope this helps someone. FWIW I installed on a 2023 Maverick XLT Ecoboost 2.0. Alarm does push notifications and the start stop stays off now. LOVE it and the truck!

I' have a MY2024 Maverick Lariat EB on order that will be built in 2 weeks.

Thinking of adding Perimeter Plus. However, when I went to the Security Page of the Mav Lariat, I see this. So, what will the PLUS add?
