Ford Pass Maps

New to Ford Pass. At first it would not work on my phone, though I got an email that all was set up. Then I had the brilliant idea to quite my phone and then re-open it. Works find now. I have a question about the maps portion. Is that close or long range? Not easy for someone not entitled to drive off with one of these, but if for some reason they did, would the maps show where it was it had left the neighborhood?

My FordPass map shows my Maverick about 2 feet away from where it actually is.

Wish it would work pre-delivery. I would love to know where my truck has been these last ten weeks that it has supposedly been on its way to me.

Mine was in a shop about 15 to 20 miles from me and it show. They were doing some work on it.

the gps location can be a little inaccurate, and it doesn't have breadcrumbs at least not that we the end-user can review. (ford, maybe so, I don't know.) so you probably couldn't review where it went, but you can see where it is or was very recently.

my worst experience with it was parking in a huge lot at a football game. it was dark when we left, I wasn't sure where I had parked, and I looked in FordPass. it was off by hundreds of feet.

generally, though, it's fairly accurate as long as the truck doesn't go into deep sleep.

That would be cool! pre build would be better, watch it move down the assembly line!
