Not as nice as the Ford one, but a lot cheaper. Has sequential turn signal and white back up. Mounted above spare tire hole. still gives off a lot of light

I took it back a three days ago. They managed to fix it after three days of having it and I just now picked it up. They called Putco and figured out that my harness was defective so they replaced it and it's working great now. I'm about to upload pictures and a videodid you take it in today?
I had mine installed last Friday but the install had to be un-done. The dealer had the usual tail light issues and called Putco for assistance. They were told by Putco that there are 'compatibility issues' with the Maverick that Putco is working to address.Ordered the tailgate lightbar specifically for the Maverick on the Ford website. Took a month to receive and had it installed at the dealership. Just picked it up!

I had the same thing happen to me. Putco told my dealership it was the harness that was bad and they changed the harness. So far, no issues on my end, but it did take two, almost three days to figure that out. Scary that Ford didn't check this lightbar before selling. The advice I got from the dealer was to watch for the part number to change on the Ford website (it is VNZ6Z13B678A now). I was not charged for the work they did or the part they had to send back.
It's incredibly disappointing that Ford did not even test this accessory before selling it as compatible for the Maverick. Ford's site says 'it fits the Maverick', it does not say that it actually works on the Maverick. I'm glad I had the dealer order it for me and that I did not spend my Ford Points to order myself.
They mounted it at the very back of the bumper and at a somewhat of an angle to prevent the spare tire hole to be blocked. I'll take pictures in a few minutesnice. how did they mount it?
I'll wait for the part number to change. . . if I go with it again.I had the same thing happen to me. Putco told my dealership it was the harness that was bad and they changed the harness. For sure! Let me know! They said that mine was the "exception", but it looks to be common. It hasn't given me any issues so farI ordered the light bar from Ford accessories website and tried installing it yesterday but ran into the same problem as listed above…the driver side tail light only intermittently working. I will reach out to Putco to see if they can send me a replacement harness as that seems to be your fix. I’ll update this when I get their response.
