It's called MOB mentality. Happens a lot here. You can disagree without the insults and child like response or maybe refrain from respondingMakes controversial post, gets flamed by multiple forum users, deletes post, still continues to get flamed by other forum users that never even got a chance to read his original post.![]()
Prices will be going up shortly. You can buy a quality dashcam with exactly the features you want at a great price on Amazon and if your not handy any audio installer will install it, hard wired. Zero chance of your warranty being 'voided'.
Prices will be going up shortly.
30% tariff could mean $300 cam becomes ~ $390.
It doesn't matter. American companies will also raise their prices. It's called Capitalism. The American companies did it during the 2008/2009 recession and also during Covid.![]()
I think his point was that you can get a good dash cam from Amazon for significantly less than $300. After new tariffs, my $63 camera would become $82.
Since you brought up the point of tariffs, let me ask you this, do you think this higher $82 selling price would encourage Vlokda to move their manufacturing facilities to the US, or do you think Americans will just keep buying Chinese made products at inflationary prices?
That’s a really good point…. For some products anyways. It doesn't matter. American companies will also raise their prices. It's called Capitalism. The American companies did it during the 2008/2009 recession and also during Covid.
