Does anyone have the Ford Dashcam? Feedback / Reviews?

I'm considering putting my reward points toward the Ford front and rear dashcam. Does anyone have that? I'm wondering if that's a decent option for a dashcam or if I should go with another brand.

Used points and had it installed at aincoln mercury dealer this week. Front version. Ordered a sd PC reader on Amazon for 8.54 this morning. Really don't see a need for rear facing. If u get slammed from rear kinda obvious not your fault. I have it set for continuous record. Think the accessories r on sale 15% thru March. The site didn't add sales tax.

Hell naw I'm not paying that much for their markups. Get something cheaper. Installation is simple.

My dealer accessories guy told me it would be best to find one elsewhere for less. If the dealer thinks it is not worth it then that tells you something.

How's the video quality on that? Is there an app that goes with it?

Dunno. Need to pop sd card and watch on PC with card reader. My PC doesn't have so ordered one on Amazon, $8.54. arrives today.

Generally. It still helps to see the glow of the cell phone in the face of the person who rear-ends you.
