Dashcam again

Has anyone installed the current Ford offering, Thinkware w/no model number, sells for $309? Seems to be different than the X1000, is it worth the money? Reviews, please!

A $300 dashcam seems a bit high. Dozens of then out there for one tenth of that.

I got the same one Ford offers from Best Buy. It's a lot cheaper there. Of course, you can't use points for it at Best Buy. I got mine when it was on sale. With a rear cam and GPS accessory (you want that), it was $179.99.

honestly my husband and i got a great one on amazon, its usually $100 but on amazon prime day we were able to snag them for $60! We have now bought a second one because the one that was in my husbands truck was reused to create a front end trail cam for my dads bronco. the one we got is not specifically water proof and made to have front and rear viewing but we wired it to the grill and its made it through several storms and several trails and its still going strong. it also keeps track of location, time and date. so if you get in an accident you have complete proof with all the information on the video. so in my opinion you dont need to get the ford brand to have a good one, my husband did a week of research and review reading on amazon and we ended up with a great camera. we even have now bought a 3rd camera to replace the one my dad commandeered for his bronco.
