Dashcam from Ford Accessories / Parts? Reviews / feedback?

Does anyone have any experience with the dash cam/rear camera from Ford Accessories. Really would like one, but they don't give that much info about it. Haven't bought anything for my Maverick for a couple months and it is feeling neglected.

I don't have any experience with this specific bundle, but I have a couple other cameras from Thinkware. I'm happy with it so far, but I'm still learning the ins and outs of it.

When I asked my Ford accessories guy he said it would be better to get one from somewhere else for less. He felt they are too much for what you get. And this is coming from a Ford employee

I don’t have that bundle, I have the 4K bundle version from ford. No complaints. Dealer installed. Really clean. Plugs into obd2 port. Software is easy to use as well

I have been looking at dashcams also. I run a radar detector so trying to figure out how to mount. I have been looking at the Garmin mini 2. Small the size of a key fob, no rear camera just a basic dashcam.

I agree. I had the dealer install it but not one person there knew how to use it. They had no owner manual just the installation instructions. I went online to Thinkware and their instructions suck and I couldn’t find any video instructions. If something bad happens I will just ask the police how to download load the data. Bet they have done it a bunch of times.

From their reviews it reads like Thinkware customer service is pretty helpful. You might want to give them a call if you're having issues.
