Ford Canada Order Tracking Site?

For those with Order # and VIN, is anybody able to use the Ford Canada tracking site to see status of their vehicle? I've been checking for the past few weeks and keep getting an error message that pops up. Ford chat is useless and they can't figure it out either.

The site is pretty buggy. I cannot get it to work with Safari or Chrome. My work laptop is able to get it working with Microsoft Edge using an InPrivate window.

I use Google Chrome and it works. Still showing my 2022 XLT with build date for Oct 31 despite the fact I had to roll it over with my dealer a week and half ago. Makes me a little nervous.

Seems more like an issue with your ISP or personal computer or something because it worked first try for me. I don't even have a Canadian order and it still showed up in the Canadian order tracker.

Oh wow that’s hilarious that you can teach it using the Canadian site?

How do I check the ISP?

I've tried Edge (InPrivate), chrome (Incognito), Internet Explorer, on Win10. Safari and Chrome on iPhone and iPad. I even put the iPhone on cell data to try a different ISP. Nothing works.

Maybe we have to get farther along in the process and it'll kick in. Be interested to hear if anyone has it working with a 2023 Canadian order that is only at the "Order Confirmed" stage.

You can't get it to work with only receiving "Order confirmed". You need to have a production date meaning you have a VIN assigned to your order. You don't get a VIN assigned until it receives a production date. If you're talking about the link in the email you received for "Order confirmed", that link expires after 60 days or something and no longer works. Once you receive a "Scheduled for production" email with a VIN number in it you will be able to use the order number and VIN number to track it on the tracking website.

If it's in production it should work and you should have a VIN. Have you tried the US tracking site?? Since my US order worked on the Canadian site maybe the reverse is true?

Interestingly, we can use the US site to make sure our Canadian VIN is valid. I tried flipping the 0 to a 1 in the number above and it gave me a different message:

This is actually useful since we don't get emails from Ford in Canada and my dealer gave me my VIN over the phone.
