This is pretty easy to remove via forscan. If you have a lariat the setting may be in the ACM or APIM or both. the "Driver Restriction" needs to be disable

This does NOT work on my 23 Lariat with sync 3, B and O sound......

Well, I bought a year of Forscan and with the new version I see the APIM finally. I did the F150 As built mod for nav in motion. It did NOT work.
I tried some other stuff like changing the country code for it and it would not complete the write.
This is pissing me off.
Any help would be appreciated. I would gladly give anyone $1k that can fix this BS.
Not being able to search your USB music is ludicrous.
I hope Chevy comes out with a hybrid Colorado.

good to know thank you. I don't have a lariat to test these changes on. look at this link below. It should be the decoding for your APIM (SYNC 3.4)

You should send me pictures of your entire APIM AS BUILT and ACM AS BUILT. And the EZ MODES of both. It would help me to help you and figure out what change is going to work

Are you sure changing nav in motion to enable using these instructions below will not work? You said you tried this correct?

Also it looks like if you use voice commands or steering wheel buttons, the lock out will not happen on the USB drive

yes 5753 I seem to remeber 7D0-03 something but I would have to go look to be sure.
voice command seem very limited. I'm not sure about using the wheel buttons. I'll try messing with that.

I tryed buckling the belt. No joy.
The sceen pops up about safety when you are moving and you can't do a new search. It greys out.

I'll keep looking. Im going to look more across all ford platforms with SYNC3.4 to see about removing this. It may come down to having to do something like this.
