After getting my battery exchanged, I started to get dash error/warning messages about a charging system problem. At the dealer this morning we found one of the positive battery lugs was loose- Its one that attaches to the harness and in that you can change the battery without even touching this nut but it was loose. Tightened and everything checks out ok now with diagnostics.

Attached a picture for reference.

That yellow paint stripe on the other bolt indicates it had an additional quality check performed, most likely to verify torque.

Perhaps they should refocus their efforts.

I wonder if you did not really need a battery, and it was just this all along?
My Ford tech and I think this as well but I got an upgraded battery out of this small hassle -)

Sadly I have to update this post- After having the battery replaced, main connection harness tightened and the entire fuse box replace, Auto/Start stop which has not worked for two months and now the truck has entered deep sleep - This is an Ecoboost which is driven normally- What is going on with Fords charging systems or lack thereof ?
