Folding Bed Divider

Made a folding bed divider from a 2x10, spray paint, hinge, toggle latch clasp, a handle, and some weather seal strips. Wanted something simple that I can open and close with one hand. Originally put a barrel bolt lock on but it had too much play when straight, hence the extra holes. The toggle latch keeps it straight and firm. Folds in half when I need to remove and store it.

Being "Height Challenged" I like this better than my single 2X6 that I made. Sometimes that 2x6 is a real pain to get in/out when it is grabbing the spray in bed liner.

2x10 board, hinge, rustoleum spray paint, and handle from Home Depot. Had some weather seal that I stuck on the ends and in the fold to help it stay snug. Cut the boards to 27" each, 54" total length. Actual length for that space in the bed is 54.25". I cut that extra .25" off with the plan of filling in the gaps with weather seal. Length may differ a little depending on if you have a bed liner or not.
