I understand the appeal of the price, but this is not at all appropriate for a fog lamp. This is only good for putting "a light" on "a surface".I just saw these on Amazon and am curious if the could be mounted in the same fog light area without too much difficulty:

The beam pattern is not road legal and it will glare other drivers.
There is also no adjustment in the mounting to aim them -- although, the flood portion of the beam pattern would glare no matter what.
There is a legitimate fog light kit available now, which I am biased in favor of. But if you insist on custom-mounting fog lights yourself, please buy appropriate lamps. A fog light lens should be marked SAE F or SAE F3 and have the data to back up the claim-- you won't get that from Amazon brands. Diode Dynamics, Morimoto, Baja Designs, and Rigid Industries are all reputable aftermarket brands with real fog light patterns. Or you can get a used set of OEM fog lamps off a different vehicle.
