So the seats are 100% drop in. The Recaro and Mav seat base are the same so you just need to swap the seat sliders.

Better yet, take the seat covers, cushion, and airbags off the Recaro and install on your seat frame. This way you have a 2022-2024 seat frame without 10 year old rust and crap. This way you can also use the Maverick wire harness. The Recaro has 2 harness plugs on the back side and the Mav has 3. Keep in mind yours may vary, mine is a Lariat with heated seats.

Remember this day, December 6, 2023 as the last day you can find cheap Focus Recaros lol.

Coming from the Fiesta ST community, I've long wanted Focus recaros for the black leather. I was never able to find a set for a price I could justify spending but once my truck comes in this would be a dang nice modification if I ever find a set.

Now that im looking for the passenger seat they are all magically $240.

It took days for this to occur to me, but in theory, any aftermarket seats that work in the focus st should also work in the Maverick, correct?

Nice! Always liked the Recaros and I'm glad it looks like it worked out easily!

I was thinking of doing something similar but with Bronco Sport seats.

This looks fantastically awesome!! 👏👏Bravo for doing it.

And forget ANYONE who says anything about the ST logo on the seats! They're just seats! Something that can be swapped in at anytime. In my 2006 Mustang GT, always hating the stock seats for several years as they have ZERO bolstering. Had an acquaintance in Dearborn help me pick up a full set of Roush Mustang Stage 3 seat covers and foam for the front, back in 2011 (so 5+ years with the horrid stock seats).

Black/blue inserts (which I ALWAYS wanted) & the foam bolsters are MUCH better. Looks fantastic in my car, and anyone who asks about the "Stage 3" logo on them, I tell them, I got them from the Roush Garage sale many years back for $250 for the full set! 😱 This usually blows their mind (retail was over $1,200). I also say, my car doesn't have Roush badges anywhere, it's not a Rush, not trying to pose as one, I just wanted better seats. No one says a word about it. Forget the haters. They're just jealous! 👏👏👏

I’d like to note that I am not the Upbadge type and don’t go around calling it an ST. I do get a kick out of people calling me a poser yet have no idea.

I was set of getting an ST if they ever made one. Now, not a chance. It would have to be something we all know Ford wouldn’t build anyways. Chances are we get a 2.3 with paddle shifters and Recaros. We can dream about a manual but let’s face it, not happening.

Now back on the subject. 2014-2018 Focus ST seats are a bolt in job. I imagine RS seats would as well but those aren’t as available or economical as these.

I traded in my 2013 Ford Focus ST for my 23 Hybrid Maverick Lariat. I sure miss it.
