Hello all,

I tried a search in the forums for available CAD drawings of the Mavericks flexbed, showing dimensions and locations for the various items in the bed. I thought Ford would have this as part of the support for third party accessories builders, but all I could find was a simple PDF with the beds length and width and height noted. And while it showed there were wheel wells, no dimention information was supplied.

Anway, does anyone know where I can find this information. It is for a camping and daily hauling build for personal use, not for profit or sale.

Thanks all, asn if i missed the ovbious answer in the forums, well I'm somewhat new here so be a little bit kind, but not to kind in your answers.

I worked as a Machine Design Engineer and then Project Manager for a world wide company in Michigan for many years. One of the biggest customers was Ford . To do my job, all the automotive manufacturers provided me CAD files (STEP, IGES, Catia, Ideas, etc) upon request. Getting actual Ford CAD files, typically would need to be leaked, if they were easily found on the net.

If anyone reading this thread knows someone working for an aftermarket accessories manufacturer, maybe a company that sells flex bed stuff, we might find someone sympathetic to your cause and help out. Afterall, either actual CAD files from Ford, or the use of a 3D scanner, are required to truly engineer any product that fits a specific vehicle.

Good luck

Got a reply from ford about available drawings:

"Unfortunately we do not support the CAD for this model year vehicle, however, I would refer you to the SEMA website for further information:"

The model year i asked for was 2026, I didn't include the website that was referenced because it was 1) it was always a 404, not found and 2) Sema requires membership that can range fro $100 to 2,000 each year.
