There's a company named Flated that makes inflatable truck toppers. Since they are inflatable they're very lightweight and can be installed and removed by one person. The website is https://getflated.com/products/air-topper-large. I inquired about a topper that fits the Maverick this is their response:

Me: Hi. Is there a topper that fits the Ford Maverick?​

Flated: Hello. Not at this time but we are looking to add that size by next spring!!​

I finally got my Flated topper installed. Initial install was about 20 minutes. Installation will get faster the more I do it. It's heavier than I imagined but it was still easy to pick up, move, and put on the truck. I did it in my garage. My initial impression is that it is solid, durable, and well constructed. I'm 5'10" and can almost sit upright inside the cab with the topper on it. I have to duck my head slightly.

I ran some errands with the topper on my truck and I didn't even notice it was there, except for the limited visibility out the rearview mirror. The topper has a small window up against the cab. I installed both the front and rear windows and could see out of the rearview but the topper cab window is vertically narrow. So it's an obstructed view out of the already small rear window. It's something I'll get used to. I think for future installs I won't put the cab window on the topper and open the sliding rear window, which should make visibility a bit better.

I would totally recommend this topper for those of us who only need a topper on occasion.

I'll post again when I deflate it and store it in it's bag.

Yeah 1k is a lot. But I'm sure it's worth it if you use it often enough but still want to remove it. I wonder how it holds up with high speeds and with load on top of it since it mentions it can hold a SUP

OMG!!! Company name "FLATED" gonna wart me all day. Is company policy to not allow any of their products to be "INFLATED" while in their possession but must remain "FLAT" and "FLATED" was chosen to remind all the workers to keep their items "FLAT"?????
Then after inflation causes prices to go up you wind up with inflated inflated inflatables, etc.....

Hi Ryan, No questions but I have a suggestion: Make the topper at least 6 ft. long with the tailgate down so I can go camping overnight and sleep in it. I'll bet it would be a hit.
