Congratulations! Nice color! Here’s a pic from my first (ceramic graphene) wax. It’s due again.

Nice job!! Did you apply the same thing on the plastic trim?

That stuff is unbelievably good. It's so easy and quick to apply and it lasts for 8-12 months.

I used it and it's great. I also use the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Wash and Wax after doing the Ceramic spray.

Both are very easy to use, affordable and give really good results. Plus you can use them on all surfaces of your truck without any problems.

My hybrid was built 1-24 so I feel it’s safe to wax it and it’s raining today in West Virginia

Plz correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the wax your using " nu finish" for old, oxidized paint? Hope it didn't cause any damage!

I don't want to start any big thing But Nu Finish is exactly made for old oxidized paint . Used it a long time ago on my Chevy blazer paint that was faded. It does a great job bringing back the shine. Can it protect too? I guess . Not sure what is in it exactly?

BUT I would use just a ceramic rather than that. Many to choose from . As far as WAX. No never touch actual wax as its 100 year old tech. Wax at best last a month unless car is in a garage mostly. Ceramic is a SiO2 Silicon Dioxide . It varies on how much is in a product and what other materials in it to make it easier to go on. The pro stuff has much more in it BUT is tricky to put on. What makes this MORE confusing is some ceramics still say WAX on the bottle even though they have no wax in them. People just can leave the old term waxing my car back in the old days.

I’ve been using nu finish for about 10 years, so I am old-school but I like it holds up for years easy to apply but you’re right I need to check ceramic protection and one person said he could use it on the plastic also? Nice.

Joe, when I saw your NuFinish bottle, it put the fear of God into me. That said, my concern may or may not be relevant, but I want to pass it along. My first car, in 1961, was a black 1958 Triumph TR3A with a beautiful black paint job. To keep it shiny, I took NuFinish to it almost on a weekly basis, thinking that it was just a wax. IT WAS A POLISH ALSO. When I got finished with each application, my bucket of water was BLACK. I WAS REMOVING PAINT!!!

Again, this was 60 years ago, before clearcoat paint jobs, so it might not be relevant. Relevant or not, a NEW paint job doesn't require a polish already, probably just a straight carnauba wax (without polish in it).

Again, for what it's worth, this may help or be irrelevant, but I wanted to pass it along. Your orange bottle of NuFinish was a stab in my heart. Beautiful truck, BTW.

I have waxed ours once. I used the Turtle Was Hybrid Solutions too. I put it on everything, paint, trim, glass, bed cover, wheels. It beads up water great and is super easy to apply. Project Farm has done a couple of videos on ceramic waxes and the Hybrid Solutions is one of the best and probably the best value.
