First "unfortunately" email today

Received the first 45day letter on my 1st time MY2024 order the other day, Thursday 8/31. It was ordered 7/17. Had ordered the mudflaps to be dropped the week before.

YA YA YA. I got my 7th 45 day notice. I ordered last Sept. I haven't given up yet but my dealer must have very few allocations if any.

Got my disappointment email today. Been waiting since November 2021 for my XLT hybrid. When do the 2025 order banks open is how I feel. Won't be rolling over if it doesn't happen this model year.

I received the same email today from Ford even after they said my 23 xlt hybrid was scheduled for production on the week of September 18, so now they are backing out of production date. I did order a 24, same truck exactly except for a $4000 dollar increase and deleted accessories, so now I will have to go back to the dealer and hope I can make it a carryover of my 23 which I feel they will never make. I am a Ford retiree with 36 years with the company and wish someone else was making a comparable vehicle so I could tell Ford to shove it. I have never seen such incompetent people running the company in my lifetime.

I wouldn’t be too worried about this. I’m scheduled for the week of 9/18. I got the same sorry email last week. Checked the status of my order using my VIN number and my build is still scheduled for the week of 9/18.

Received my first MY24 email from Ford today stating that my order is waiting to schedule. It has only been 20 months, we will see what kind of priority/scheduling they give to the 2 year carryovers that are priority code 2.

Have you discussed with your salesman why it is not scheduled? They can see what options you ordered that are unavailable. I ordered mine with mud flaps and a tri-fold cover... you would think those accessories would be easy to get... nope! I removed those after waiting 10 months to get scheduled...and 2 weeks later it was scheduled.

My 24 is a Lariat with no options. Everything I wanted is in the package. I had no constrained items on the 23. Dealer claims he has allocations, and he has received gas units that was ordered long after mine. Don't know how to verify his allocation numbers.

It was my understanding that the 2023's were being built into November. So if you ordered a 2024 you wont see it until the end of Dec or later. If i ordered a 2024 I wouldn't take anything off it.
