First "unfortunately" email today

Hope I was wrong about the email I just received from Ford I may have been wrong about which truck I had ordered, the 23 or 24 as it does not state which one it is , if it is for the 2024 then maybe my 2023 is still in the scheduled production mode, I can hope for the best.

Yes you can cancel items and you need to cancel all those you mentioned.

Go through dealership that’s the only way. Take off all that stuff that can be added later. Make sure they show you that the items have been removed.

You will get a new DORA. Make sure they give you that.

I’m thinking if your 2023 got scheduled you have a VIN. With that you should be able to track your 2023 order and see what’s really happening with it.

Btw those emails are auto generated and cannot be replied to. You can just call dealer but make sure they email you a new DORA showing the changes.

Got mine today as well. I’m assuming my 2023 order will never happen… my car stalled on my way home from work today too. Not sure how much longer I can actually wait.. Perfect timing. Lol

My '23MY has been built and shipped, with estimated delivery date of September 30th, but I still got the "sorry" email today. My dealer placed a rollover order for a '24 MY, in case the '23 didn't get built. I guess the dealer's not going to cancel it if mine actually arrives at the dealer in good shape and I take delivery. Good to have a backup though, in case mine gets damaged in transit. I just don't want to start the waiting game again!

I received the same email and text. But I could possibly hear again in 45 more days. Just happy the I am on a list somewhere.

So you’re getting a EB then instead of a hybrid? That might help but I would still remove the tonneau from the order. Have your dealership add one later.

Ideally along with the “You unfortunately are not scheduled” I would appreciate a ballpark production time of where I may fall in the production schedule.

Still would appreciate the 45 day update, with any changes or confirmations of my scheduled build.
