First time poster - The Green Machine

Welcome Dayna and congrats on the new Mav. I drive the Eruption Green also and I get quite a few compliments. I went with 20% tint on the front and they are pretty damn dark. I think the factory rear is something closer to 25%. So 5% means that is the amount of light (known as Visible Light Transmission or VLT) that can pass through your tint. That is flat out get in the closet and close the door dark.

I like that green color, but living in the hot, sunny southeastern US, I wanted a lighter color to reflect sunlight, so I went with 'Alien Blue' (Area 51) and a white hard cap over the back.

Welcome daynasliltruck! I have the same model and color and love it also. Can you share the Amazon seat covers you purchased? Do they match the exterior Green? Love the rare green but the fact the seats don't match is mildly annoying. Still wouldn't change it for another color.

I have the FWD Hybrid - couldn’t find an AWD locally. Also wasn’t sure that I needed AWD - living in Central Florida !!!

Same here. If the weather gets that bad, I am better off staying home!
I asked because the OP is Canadian and I've seen reviews by Canadian owners who were good with FWD in winter. Since AWD is now an option with hybrids, I was wondering if her Mav was so equipped

So what "Covers" are we talking about for the wheel well gaps ? They are still bugging me on my 2022- That felt just turns Brown/Grey and seem impossible to get clean-

Yes I just didn’t vibe with the grey cloth seats. Although they’re really nice looking and seem good quality — I just don’t trust myself and feel like I might find a way to stain them. The cover that I linked are all black. They fit really well on the back seats and fit okay on the front seats. I just don’t think they put enough straps on the front covers to make them look seamless. There’s also like no room under the front seats with the wiring and vents to even attach them but me and my dad somehow got them on. It’s definitely a two person job.

Here’s the Amazon link for them. There’s just like this massive hole there and I really have no clue on the purpose of it. Seems like the ideal spot for rocks, leaves and mud to get caked in there. Not to mention salt from the roads. Really trying to keep this truck in good shape even if it’s spending money on these random things lol.

I’ve had my 2025 Hybrid XLT since September 20th, and I’ve been nothing but pleased with it.
So far some of the add-ons have been 5% tint, leather seat covers (Amazon), tonneau cover (Bison), floor mats/ liners, mud flaps (Amazon), tailgate assist and cargo net (also Amazon) and waiting on some covers to fill the strange gaps in the wheel wells. So far my fuel economy has been really good and probably better than my old 2013 ford escape. Really happy with this upgrade, and so happy to find this page

I'm happy that you are happy to have found this site. Welcome! Good looking truck! I think I see the tint curtain on the windshield. Is it 5%? I would like to see the side windows with 5% tint if you get an opportunity for side view picture. Does 5% let you see much at night?
