I just picked her up today! 2025 XLT Hybrid, 4k tow, lux package and BAP. I had one on order that is due to build the end of the month but seen this one and decided to pull the trigger. It was my exact build except this one had the BAP. Wife said she liked the looks of it better so green light! Only have about 50 miles on it bringing it home but loving it so far. The technology upgrade is awesome from my old 2014 vehicle. No knobs for HVAC, non issue for me and the wife we cruised around trying everything out and honestly within a few minutes had it all figured out and think it’s fine. I have never owned a hybrid so all the little clicks and noises is going to take a little getting used to but I totally get the MPG nerds. Pretty cool watching the meter charge and seeing your in electric and when it switches. Glad I got the lux package, the heated steering wheel and seats get really nice and toasty, steering wheel heat is better than the wife’s 2019 Explorer. With the BAP I really love the grill and wheels on this truck. I did have them remove the hood stripes was not feeling those. I can’t wait to get some more miles on it to really figure things out. Thanks to this forum for all the shared knowledge! Also I completely bought this over the phone and online from Long McArthur who was great to deal with. I’m about 3 hours from them.

Congrats, looks great. The biggest thing for me so far with the hybrid is remembering to turn it off when I park it. Sometimes I'll sit in the Mav and look at my phone and forget that the Mav is still running. Generally takes me a second once I get out and realize what an idiot.

I can definitely see that happening in my future! It will take some getting used to.

Hello and welcome to MTC. Congratulations on your new Maverick, it looks great. You know there is a phrase that comes to mind, "a bird in hand is better than two in the bush". Hope you and the wife are able to enjoy your new truck everyday.

Congrats and welcome! I love that green and wish it had been an option in 23 for us.

Since I'm fairly new to the group, what is BAP?

Black Appearance Package. Became available starting in 2023 and for the exterior gives you black rims, smoked head and taillights, black emblems, and in 2025 some hood graphics.

Interior gets the blue/orange accent colors deleted and then seats are black.

Looks like seats are not black. Just maybe the stitching and accents.
