Also in Arkansas. We got 8 inches here near Little Rock. I couldn't resist getting out in it yesterday. FWD did quite well.

Here in Arkansas we don't usually get as much snow as we did the last couple of days. I bought my trucklet in June and was itching to see how it would do in the snow. I was truly impressed. It's a '24 AWD and performed flawlessly. I had a little bit of slow down coming up our driveway way but I was literally plowing snow with the front end lol. I had it in Slippery mode but I thought I read somewhere else that a different mode was actually better but I can't remember what it was.

Depending on your sub model build (sand mode) works pretty well in the snow up here in the Northeast I added Eco and sport to my 24 FX4 and considering this is my first winter with her and coming from a 8600lb 6.5 diesel it's a pretty amazing little truck. It did take me a little bit to feel her out in the first snow we had and coming from such a big truck beforehand ,but I've been comfortable keeping her in sport mode unless the conditions really deteriorate then I'll drop her into slippery or sand depending on the type /consistency of the snow. I'm glad you're enjoying your little trucklet as much as we all are the snow is just another obstacle to to overcome battle buddy enjoy the challenge just not too much though because insurance is a bitch 😉

We got about 8 inches on top of ice in STL which is a lot for recent years. Most of the streets I drove were clear but on one that was horrible my truck did great. I put on the screen to see how often the awd was kicking in and that was pretty neat. I thought about finding an unplowed parking lot but the truck was so clean I decided to skip it. Mud flaps did a good job. The factory Michelins were fine. ABS did not kick in- should probably try that next trip. I got off the narrow part I had shoveled in my drive but it went through with no issues. I don't need to get out much being retired but it's nice to know I can if I need to.

LoL it's still fun to screw around at any age. I forgot to mention I did purchase a set of steelies for the winter and I got some winter tires Goodyear winter-Command Ultra's because I haven't driven this light of a vehicle in the snow in so many years I wanted to be prepared for anything😁

I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan and we usually get 75 in of snow a year so I was waiting to try the Maverick. So far this winter we've gotten 4 in. We might get two tomorrow maybe 3. So I'm still waiting to see how runs in the snow. Also the traction control they're talking about turning off is that the little button that looks like a snail?
