Camas, Washington to Custer, South Dakota. About 1250 miles each way. I picked up Little Red last October. 2024 hybrid, averaged 37-38 MPG. Devils Tower was a bucket list sight to see on the way! The lightning around us was a great bonus. Truck was very comfortable to drive and delivered my dad's little wood lathe to my cousin nicely.

Miss Ellen,
I bet that was a beautiful trip.
Devil’s Tower is so close to Mt Rushmore and the Black Hills. I hope you got to see them too.

BTW: I can tell that you have well developed tactical humor, my friend.
I have this on the back of my Maverick as well.

I sure did see them! Custer is in the Black Hills and about 30 minutes from Mt Rushmore. We also toured the Badlands and saw bison in Custer State Park.

Glad you got to see God's country. I've lived in North West Wyoming for 30+ yrs now. An adventure is only as easy as getting out.
Last summer, my dear friend and I logged 5k miles in 3 weeks of July, used my park pass 13 times in 6 or 7 national parks.
(The gal attending the East gate of Yellowstone NP recognized me second time though). 😄

PS: We love our tourists, spend your money and go home and take a wolf with you.
